10/29/07 Server break

Me and mickey are going to give the server a break. Couple days to a week. After that time, I and mickey will try to see what the problem is. You cans can help by trying to research something like "odinms unable to connect" or "odinms channel.bat error" or something. I will be researching during this break to try to find this problem. I appologize, this was unexpected during my absence.

A:Make sure you have port forwarded the correct ports, and also try disabling your firewall, or allow incoming connections on ports 8484 and 7575, or in some cases 7576.

Did you add your local_policy.jar and US_export_policy.jar to the appropriate Java folders? Also, did you execute all the necessary SQLs?

If you get a

UNABLE TO CONNECT TO GAME SERVER

[YES] [NO]

and you have wamp server open, you changed loginpacket.cpp,portforwarded or used hamachi,and other random stuff...

and only you can get on, but your friends' can't, then open control panel, open the one that looks like a shield, then click firewall thingy, then disable...

i'm sure it'll work- that's what i did!

Make sure your odinms.jar is in your dist folder.
And you have installed Java properly.

make your own .bat!
open notepad and put
start [Localhost Client.exe] [Your IP] [Port Forward]
for example : start Me.exe 123.213.231 8484
save as .bat and try it?
